Obituary

Lolita J. Rossi

February 1, 1942- June 3, 2022

Lolita Rossi passed away peacefully with her family at her side on June 3, 2022.

Lolita was born in Bandon, Oregon. At the age of two, she was brought to San Francisco where she grew up and attended Balboa high school. She resided with Mrs. Celeste Piaenti and Stella Regalia. Lolita found a mother in Mrs. Piaenti and in Stella, a sister.

Lolita grew up a strong woman that was able to hide any pain with a smile on her face. In 1960, Lolita met Emilio Rossi at the Sons of Italy club. They married on June 29, 1963. Their marriage was just 26 days shy of celebrating 59 years together. Together they had two children, Laura and Antonio and three beautiful grandchildren Ashley, Robert and Mia.

Lolita loved family gatherings, admired beautiful flowers, her animals, and a always enjoyed sitting outside on a nice, warm, sunny day. She loved to travel, especially on cruises, and occasionally enjoyed gambling in Reno and Las Vegas. When she was home, she loved to express her faithfulness to the 49er's by attending their games.

She is preceded in death by relative family members in Oregon, Italy, and several states around the country. Her closest mother and father figures included mother Celeste Piaenti, and mother and father in-law Esterina and Raffaello Rossi.
