Tribute & Message From The Family

Jim was born in Lakeview, Oregon. He joined the US Navy at the age of 17. Upon his honorable discharge, he moved to the Bay Area and shortly thereafter joined the San Francisco Police Department, proudly serving for 28 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Meghan (Ross) and Lauren (Anthony), and grandchildren Avynn, Brooklyn, and Nash, who all meant the world to him.

In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing golf, going for walks, and watching British mysteries.

He was deeply loved and will be missed.

A private family service will be held.

Condolence & Memory Journal

Meghan and Lauren,

So sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I worked many shifts with and for your Dad at The Cannery. He was a great guy. We enjoyed many lunches together at Joe’s of Westlake. He will be greatly missed. RIP my friend!

I served with Jim at Southeast Station and again at Park Station-SFPD.

He was a standup guy who was liked and respected by everyone.

RIP, Jim.
