I remember "Mel" and his'50 something turquoise Plymouth coupe with the exhaust "pipes" coming outside of his rear quarterpanel. What a "hoot" it was going over to Marin County for a swimming meet with David Smith, Ford Joy, and others! I will always remember what a great guy and fun attitude. Thanks for your kindness, Mel!
Sincerely,

Dear Carol,
I was stunned to see Mel's handsome, happy face on the obituary page. He was such a smart, sweet, funny guy! What a wonderful lifelong 'bro' friendship he and Larry had; they were almost like brothers. My thoughts and love are with you and yours at this sad time...

So sad to learn of Mels passing. We go back so many ,many years with so many, many laughs. Lake Street,ZBT on and on.He was a great guy. I remember buying both of his cars including the Green Mercedes 450SLC. Although we lost touch he will always be remembered with loving thoughts. We're all getting up there.
