Condolence & Memory Journal

The billion dollar Master Mind Deal. i never new weather to call him Frank or Mr. Lembi because he was my boss but also welcomed me with a kind warm freindly spirit like we had a spiritual connection. As i am also a native of San Franciscio and half Italian i looked at Frank as a father figure. And always admired the way he was able to get Tamalpais and other banks to fund 110% of the purchase price, renovation and relocation of tenat cost on almost 200 buildings bringing the portfolio to over 300 buildings. Then during the great 2010 crash all the buildings that were returned to the banks had been 100 percent finaced still leaving him with his origanal 130 buildings.INGENIOUS. May you reach higher degrees of illumanation in the great celestial lodge in the sky.PEACE OLD MAN.

Mr. Lembi,

You were such an inspiration to me. I enjoyed every minute I spend with you and Walter learning about real estate and business.

I remember you always telling me, "save your money and buy
real estate". You don't want to be in the restaurant business, you
want to be a landlord. I took your work. You were absolutely right.

We had a good time as business partners at Red's. Though the good times and bad, you were always positive about the business and because Walter was such a great marketer, we did make it.

After we sold the restaurant, you and Walter took me on broker's
open houses and I was fortunate enough to see first hand how you made a real estate deal happen quickly. And quickly how
your empire grew and grew. You were the king of SF real estate.
So humble and gracious outside, but a true tough businessman
inside that had so much foresight.

There will never be another Frank Lembi, who had the foresight
in San Francisco real estate. A true visionary......

Thanks Mr. Lembi, for all the memories. We'll meet again soon.

Always and forever your true friend,

Doug Wong

My heartfelt condolences to the Lembi Family. My life was changed forever and for the better the day I walked in the door at Church and Market forty-five years ago. Instead of renting an apartment, Frank helped me buy a building. He was such a great example of hard work and good health. When most people are retiring Frank was at midlife. He touched and helped so many and he left the world in better place.

I have never known anyone who provided more opportunities for more people to be successful. Frank did not care about resumes. He talked with people and if he trusted them he gave them a job.

My deepest condolence for you loss of your father, grandfather and great grandfather.
I worked for Skyline Realty many years. Most of our wealth today was due to Frank. He made it possible for us to buy 2243-2256 15th Street. Billie gave us a $100,000 second. I remember his schnapps with the ginseng root on the bottom. That must have given him more longevity. Well, he is with Olga, Walter and Billie now. Thank you, Frank, for the wealth we enjoy today. You did it!!! We love you, Frank! Rest in peace!

Rest in Peace Mr. Lembi. I could never forget Sunday dinners at the house in Burlingame and how welcome you made me feel those many years ago. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

rest in peace Frank (FEL). Considering all the business and life acumen I gathered in your presence the one thing I take away is how you taught me to treat people. This will be your life gift to me. Thanks.
