May I join with others in honoring the life and memory of
Charles Guttas. His high skill and wisdom as a physician are a given.
His joy in living was an inspiration, a lesson to be appreciated and applied on a daily basis to one's own experience.

It is with great sadness that I read of the passing of Charles Guttas, MD. He was a fine cardiologist and a very kind man. He was passionate about his family and treated all who worked with him with kindness and respect. I send condolences and blessings to his son, Jeff Guttas, MD - also a fine cardiologist.
Dr. Charles Guttas was woven into the fabric of Mills-Peninsula, particularly at the Mills facility. Peace be with you all as you celebrate with wonderful memories of Dr. Charles.

For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered? You shared this quote from Kahlil Gibran with many of your patients and staff. Now you get to truly fulfill it. Although we deeply miss you we seek comfort in the knowledge that we had the privilege to get to know you and thank you for imparting so much wisdom and joy into the patients and our life's. Until we meet again Dr. Charles❤
